Balance Book is shareware. You are free to use Balance Book for a period of 30 days, after which, if you intend to continue using Balance Book, you must register your copy by sending U.S. $15.00 to the address below. Upon receipt of your registration fee, you will be sent a registration code specific to your name by which to register Balance Book. Please use the registration form included to register Balance Book. If you wish to receive your registration code though U.S. Mail as well as e-mail, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
If you do not send in your registration fee, you must destroy any copies of Balance Book you posses, including copies on Finder-mountable volumes, floppy disk, or in a compressed-file (e.g. StuffIt or CompactPro) archive.
I ask you to please send a check for your safety. I am not responsible for lost or misdirected mail. Sending your credit card number or cash through U.S. Mail may result in undesirable results. I do not accept credit cards. Upon registering, you will be notified via e-mail (so include your e-mail address) of any upgrades, notices, or special offers, if any. If you do not have an e-mail address, I regret that I will not be able to notify you via U.S. Mail. Any upgrades will be free of charge to registered users.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Balance Book requires:
Ñ 68020 CPU or better
Ñ 2.2 MB RAM available
Ñ 1.5 MB free space on your hard drive
Ñ 32 Bit QuickDraw¬ or System 7 or later
Ñ 256 colors
Please make sure that the preferred RAM size allocated to Balance Book is at least 2200K. A lower amount of free RAM can cause slow downs, lack of color and graphics, or problems that may appear to be bugs. If you are having trouble, try increasing the allocated RAM before panicing.
Be sure to read the online help section before trying anything out, and if you seem to be having trouble running the application.
Certain fonts have been used in the creation of Balance Book. Due to copyright laws, I am prohibited from distributing these fonts with Balance Book. I have used fonts included in the System 7.5 package so that most users will have these fonts. If you do not have these fonts, a substitute font should be automatically used by Balance Book, however this may result in strange texts. If you wish to know which fonts have been used in Balance Book, feel free to contact me.
QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, BUGS
I have tested Balance Book to the fullest of my ability, and have squashed any bugs that I have knowledge of, but as with any software venture, it is almost given that there will be some I have missed. In such an event, as soon as I have fixed these bugs, I will upload patches onto AOL. If you do not have access to AOL, please contact me if you have need of a patch. Registered users of Balance Book will receive such upgrades via e-mail for free.
Please report any bugs as soon as possible. Be sure to be specific as to the conditions under which the problem occurs. Don't forget to include your computer configuration, including the computer make, model, RAM and disk size, the System version, and the version of Balance Book you experienced the problem under.

Balance Book may be redistributed under the following conditions:
Ñ Balance Book may not be altered in any way; or sold, either by itself or in combination with any other product, without the express written permission of Wesley Miaw.
Ñ The consumer has the right to use Balance Book on one CPU at any given time, and to make one disk copy for archival purposes only.

If size of such a archive limits the mode of transportation, the archive may be split into transferable sizes by the creator of the archive.
